Mike MineryMike Minery

Though only in his early 20's, Michael Minery has established himself as one of the finest tap dancers working today.  He combines youthful power with the finesse of the old time hoofers.  Recently, he has been seen at The Supper Club on Broadway in the 40's swing revue "This Joint is Jumping".  Michael has also performed throughout the world with the internationally acclaimed touring company Manhattan Tap.  Michael performed as the tapping Nutcracker, was featured in the tap documentary "What is Tap?", and made his musical theater debut at the City Center Theater in Manhattan as the lead roll of Frederic in "The Pirates of Penzance".

He has choreographed pieces for companies including Manhattan Tap, North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, and The New Jersey Tap Ensemble.  He has taught master classes for numerous dance conventions and organizations such as Dance Educators of America, Dance Alliance, American Dance Awards, Dance Caravan, Showbiz, and the North American Tap Dance Championships.  Michael is on faculty at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where you can catch his class every week.
