Stephanie Johnson

Childrens' Program: Stephanie Johnson received her early training in classical ballet, jazz, character and lyrical dance at Alpharetta Dance Theatre, under the direction of Rose Barile.

While obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Valdosta State University, Stephanie pursued an additional concentration in modern dance, dance education and choreography. As a VSU Repertory dancer, she danced and choreographed for various dance concerts, student choreography shows and local recitals throughout her time at VSU. Stephanie also stands as co-founder of Valdosta’s first and only hip-hop dance troupe, XLeration.

Since her graduation in May 2005, Stephanie has enjoyed dancing with the Unto These Hills theatre company of Cherokee, North Carolina, and Brooks and Company Dance of Atlanta, Georgia. Stephanie is delighted to be spreading her passion for the art of dance, as a sincere believer in its ability to bring positive change to the lives of children and adults.
